The weather in Newfoundland is perfect for a campfire. Grab a sweatshirt and pull up a chair. We supply the firewood, you supply the entertainment. Note – The lanterns in this picture no longer exist

There are several beaches on the loop. The sandy beach, that has a trail at the edge of our property, goes out for 100-200 metres before it would be neck high. It has a flat bottom of sand that is great to walk on.

The ecological preserve is spectacular in the morning. Ducks, moose and even Cariboo have been known to tour the beach, road and the preserve

With an average of 14 feet of snow it is quite the challenge to keep it clear. So why bother…….. That is why we installed heated walkways to the hottub and the front door. So much for cold feet!

There is not a day that goes by that does not have perfect hot tub weather at night. The starts at night are spectacular. Its hard to imagine looking straight ahead to see stars, but the sky is that full. Choose your favorite colour for the hot tub or turn them off to reveal the stars and perhaps the norther lights.

Our 7 person 80 jet saltwater hot tub runs year round.  It looks more like an igloo in February, but its even more amazing at night.  Its quite often that the northern lights are visible from the tub at night

The sunsets are spectacular from our large deck or the hot tub.  Even if it is raining we have an awning that can cover the entire patio set to allow you to still enjoy the fresh outdoors

Every meal outside with friends and family is a great meal. Now add $3 a pound live snow crab…. priceless!
